Responsible for all media, community and government affairs for downtown Hartford’s largest private property owner. Helped secure needed financing and permitting for Hartford 21, the $180 million mixed-use redevelopment of the former Hartford Civic Center Mall.

The Metro Realty Group - West Hartford, CT
Developed and implemented successful neighborhood outreach and engagement for Metro Realty’s proposal to build a 150 unit luxury apartment community on the site of the former Mercyknoll Convent in West Hartford. Identified key neighborhood concerns that developer was successfully able to address. Proposal received Town Council and Planning & Zoning Commission approval.

In face of strong immediate neighborhood opposition, developed and implemented the successful grassroots efforts to identify, educate and mobilize key local stakeholders to generate over 150 individualized personal letters of support and over 50 supportive speakers at public hearings for the proposed nature-based elementary school and nature conservancy. Proposal unanimously passed by Town Planning & Zoning Commission.

Turning Earth Organic Recycling Facility - Southington, CT
Developed, implemented and executed the successful public affairs and community outreach campaign to secure local land use approvals to construct a organics recycling facility – the first of its kind in the United States.

Lexington Partners, LLC – West Hartford, CT
Developed and implemented the successful neighborhood outreach and engagement plan for the $60 million redevelopment of the Sisters of Saint Joseph Convent to 294 market-rate apartments. Project unanimously approved by the West Hartford Town Council.
